Janjske Otoke

Janjske Otoke is a nature reserve located in the municipality of Sipovo, in the western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated between the mountains of Vitorog and Lisina, at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level. The reserve covers an area of 1,800 hectares and is characterized by its unique geological formations, including canyons, gorges, and waterfalls. The reserve is also home to a variety of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species. Visitors can explore the reserve by hiking along the marked trails, which provide access to the various natural attractions, including the Skakavac Waterfall and the Janjska River Canyon. The area is also popular for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and rafting.
