The AJB DOC Film Festival returns to Sarajevo from September 12–17, 2025, showcasing powerful documentaries that explore universal values like truth, justice, and tolerance. Organized by Al Jazeera Balkans, the festival features competition and non-competition screenings at Cineplexx Sarajevo and the Bosnian Cultural Centre, plus Q&As, networking events, training sessions, and exclusive film premieres.
Founded by renowned director Jurislav Korenić, the Festival of Small and Experimental Theatre Scenes in Sarajevo is one of the oldest theatre festivals in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Celebrated for its bold programming and avant-garde spirit, it featured groundbreaking performances from across Yugoslavia and the world—including the iconic Living Theatre from New York—shaping the future of experimental theatre on a global scale.
