Museums in Stolac

Visit Makova Hiža in Stolac, a museum dedicated to Mak Dizdar, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s greatest poets. Born in Stolac in 1917, Dizdar’s legacy lives on through his manuscripts and works, including the renowned “Stone Sleeper.” Opened in 1997, this museum celebrates his life and the medieval tombstones he cherished.
