
Roses | Ružice, also called đul-pita, are a delightful Bosnian dessert and a unique twist on traditional baklava. Made with hand-pulled dough (jufka) filled with a rich blend of ground walnuts and melted butter, the dough is rolled, cut, and shaped into beautiful rose-like pieces.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, ružice, in addition to baklava, are traditionally prepared for special occasions, especially for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
